Special Screws for Mechanical Engineering
Winco offers a wide range of special and custom screws specifically designed to meet the high demands of mechanical and plant engineering. With its extensive selection of fastening elements, Winco ensures that the optimal solution is available for every application.
Swing Bolts
Swing bolts, also known as ring bolts or lifting eye bolts, have a wide range of applications in mechanical engineering and fixture construction. In particular, by using GN 732.1 collar bolts as bearing pins, corresponding bearing points can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
Winco offers swing bolts made of blackened steel or stainless steel. They are available in standard sizes from M5 to M24. Common sizes include M8 swing bolts, M10 swing bolts, and M12 swing bolts. The range is further expanded with long-threaded swing bolts GN 1524, which increase the adjustment possibilities of these standard parts as needed.
Shoulder Screws
Shoulder screws are precision-manufactured screws used in applications requiring exact positioning and a form-fitting connection. They have a ground shaft that precisely matches the borehole dimensions, minimizing play and ensuring a firm, positionally accurate connection between components. These screws are commonly used in mechanical engineering, toolmaking, assembly constructions, and motorsports, where the precise alignment of components is crucial.
Clamping Bolts
Clamping bolts are specialized screws designed to exert targeted pressure or force on a component without creating a fixed connection. Winco’s clamping bolts feature either a brass or plastic pressure pad or a rounded pressure pad that acts on the element being pressed. This prevents pressure marks or damage to the clamping surface. These bolts are frequently used in clamping devices, clamps, or for positioning workpieces, where they apply pressure by tightening to hold or fix components in a specific position without damaging them.
